Everyone who’s ever experienced the home renovation process knows it’s complex. There are many detailed decisions that must be made to complete your home’s makeover. Most homeowners don’t know where to start. It can be very overwhelming. As experienced new home builders and renovators, J.A.B.A. Construction makes it simple.
Note: Digital pictures are taken before, during and after project completion to create a detailed catalogue of the work that’s done. With permission, your photos may be used for promotional use and presented to future clients as part of our portfolio or may be submitted in award applications.
Step 1 – Initial Meeting
Before starting any project, we focus on the client’s needs and requirements. We learn about you to ensure that the renovation project meets your standards and lifestyle. We’ll answer all your questions and make suggestions. Together with you and our design professionals, we’ll work as a team to create a plan that complies with building codes and your budget.
Step 2 – Design and Budgeting
Once you accept the architectural drawings, designs, and project quote, the project preparation stage begins. We’ll secure the necessary plan approvals from municipalities, organize schedules, and coordinate with material suppliers.
Step 3 – Communication and Project Completion
Consistent communication is key throughout all phases of your project. As your general contractor, we’ll schedule weekly meetings keep you and our team informed of the progress on your home renovations. Communication is critical to addressing any changes, concerns, or questions along the way and helps us avoid false expectations and misunderstandings. The project is only considered finished when you sign off on it as complete with no deficiencies and to your satisfaction. All that’s left for you to do is enjoy your home!
We want our clients to be clients for life. That’s why we stand behind our work long after the project is completed. In fact, we have a standard “one-year warranty” that specifies the coverage of our workmanship and the materials used in your new home construction or renovation project. We also send you any available extended warranties on the products you purchase through us. Even though only necessary repairs are covered under the one-year warranty, we’ll always be happy to look at or assess any problems you have at any time. We’ll work with you to make sure you get the results you want. We’ll also supply you with written receipts for all deposits and payments. It’s a level of care you won’t find at any other general contractor in the Saskatoon area.
